Folk Alliance Day 4 (ish)

Alright, so tonight was officially the last night of the Folk Alliance conference. I’m exhausted. We’re exhausted. Ready to get home to my bed and my dog. The showcase tonight went well, but we went on 30 minutes late cause of the act before us running over. Nothing you can do about these things, but it certainly doesn’t help the morale. Caught the rest of the Louisiana Showcase tonight with artists like Susan Cowsill and Kim Carson. It was really good that we’re so well represented out here.

Hit some of the showcases tonight and enjoyed some free Memphis BBQ! All in all, this was a valuable and interesting experience. I’m glad we came up, and we’ll know better what to do and what not to do next time around. It’s 3am…I haven’t slept more than 4 hours in 4 days, so I’m going to bed. We head out in the morning…Mardi Gras here we come!
